Skeletor Belt by Delfina Delettrez
Recycled shoes, embroidered with thrifted needlepoints, from Aunt Peaches. If I was a lady, I would totally make me a pair.
Amelia Fever, although these are really wonderfully crafted, they have a high fashion, beautifully constructed feel too, the silk lining is really precious. Her work has just been featured in CRAFTS magazine so keep an eye out for her!
Natalya Pinchuk, makes these really strange odd necklaces and brooches, I don’t really know what the shapes are supposed to form, but they’re very exotic and interesting.
I just have to express how cool this is, I’m participating in a workshop run by thee Zandra Rhodes (I’m not a big fashionista, but even I can appreciate how famous she is), I’m really looking forward to it, hopefully the work that gets produced will be something special.
Nina Van Blaaderen, structural knitting all in natural colours and un-dyed wools, the structures are incredible.
Silversoles, these felted scarves are beautifully made, I saw some of them today, all hand-made and the colours are so vibrant. She layers other fabrics into the felt so you get different textures within the scarves.
By Stephanie Wooster, she knits using carded wool tops rather than a ball of wool which gives you this chunky tactile appearance, that’s my kind of accessory.
